HOW TO PIN, TAG, & HANG ITEMS
Follow these tips and guidelines to successfully pin, tag, and hang your items for the Lil' Angels Consignment Sale:

The nicer the presentation, the more likely it is to sell.

Pin items to wire hangers with large, sturdy safety pins so they will not fall off. Wire hangers are preferred, but we accept all hangers.

Pin item tags securely to the item on the RIGHT side.

Please use large safety pins only; small safety pins tend to pop open and fall off. NO small, flimsy safety pins or tiny gold pins. We want to make sure your items stay on the hanger and the tag does not get separated from the item. Large safety pins can be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Target, etc.

Shirts should be safety pinned to the hanger near the shoulders or neck to ensure that the shirt stays on.

Shorts/Pants/Skirts are pinned to the “shoulders” of the hanger, towards the middle of the waistband, so they don’t slip. A pin passes through the front and back of the shorts and around the hanger on each side for a secure hold. An extra pin in the middle will make them even more secure.

Outfits - Hang the shorts/pants/skirt with the shirt so that they can both be easily seen. Hang the shirt on the hanger and then turn it around so that you are facing the back of the shirt. Next, safety pin the top of the bottoms through shoulders of the shirt and around the hanger so the bottoms do not pull down the shirt.

Clothing Sets - Please ensure each item is the same size. If they are not the same size, please tag and sell separately.

ALL TAGS MUST BE PRINTED ON WHITE CARDSTOCK PAPER. This is to protect your items from being separated from it’s tag. An item with no tag cannot be sold.

Shoes - Please package shoes in sealed, clear plastic bags. This prevents the shoes from getting tangled in the bins.

Item Descriptions should be specific. If a tag gets lost from the item, we can look up brand, color, image descriptions, etc. which increases the chances we can reunite the tag with the item.
ITEM QUALITY

Apparel items should be currently fashionable

Clean and freshly laundered clothing only. No odors, including cigarette smoke, musty, or pet odors.

Items must be in good condition and will be inspected at drop off. Jeans or clothing that is factory distressed will be accepted.

Please do not tape video games or movie boxes. We will do it for you after drop off and inspection.

No wholesaling permitted.

Items that have been recalled and/or can be found at cpsc.gov are not accepted.

All items must be fully functional. If it requires batteries, they must be included. Broken items are not accepted.

It is at the sole discretion of LAA to determine if items are accepted into the sale.

Hang one item on hanger and pin at shoulders.

Pin the second item to the back at the shoulders, facing the opposite direction.
